1.   To describe the epidemiology of herpes, rubella, and toxoplasmosis. 

2.  To describe an effective method for preventing recurrent herpes infection in pregnancy. 

3.  To identify the most common manifestations of congenital rubella. 

4.  To assess the risk associated with rubella vaccination in early pregnancy.

5.  To describe the role of ultrasound and amniocentesis in diagnosing congenital toxoplasmosis.
