Objectives

The student should understand standard terminology describing standard obstetrical ultrasound examinations

The student should understand the standards for performance of standard obstetrical ultrasound examinations

The student should know where to find information specifying standards for obstetrical ultrasound examinations

The student should understand and organized approach to standard obstetrical ultrasound imaging

The student should recognize the average appearance of standard planes of sonographic section obtained during a standard second trimester sonographic examination, and should recognize some anomalous deviations from the average appearance.
