Annual Review of Obstetrics &
Gynecology - Course Objectives & Identified Gap
Obstetricians and
Gynecologists including generalists as well as subspecialists must have complete
knowledge outside of their specific area of clinical interest in order to
effectively treat and promote women’s health.
After participating in this comprehensive clinical course, the
practicing ob/gyn physician should be able to:

Review evidence-based key
aspects of obstetrics, gynecology and its multiple subspecialty areas
(maternal fetal medicine, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, genetics,
reproductive endocrinology and infertility) and apply the latest nationally
accepted clinical guidelines in order to effectively treat, manage and
promote women’s health.

Identify clinical problems in
obstetrics and gynecology shown in interactive, case-based scenarios to
facilitate appropriate management.

Demonstrate increased
knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology and its subspecialties in order to
receive specialty board certification and/or continued maintenance of
certification
