Objectives
At the conclusion of this seminar, the participant should:
Understand the incidence of common autoimmune diseases in pregnancy and which patients are at risk for developing them.
Understand the usual clinical presentation of the patient with an autoimmune disorder and the potential maternal and neonatal morbidities associated with the disease.
Understand the management of a patient diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in pregnancy.
