Perinatal Resources Inc, a nonprofit medical educational corporation established more than 30 years ago, provides continuing medical education (CME) for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and its territories.

The CME program ensures that obstetricians and gynecologists are knowledgeable in the latest, nationally-accepted medical guidelines to effectively diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses. The ultimate goal of the CME program, and therefore Perinatal Resources, is simply to support women’s health. Medicine, especially the ob/gyn specialty, is a constantly evolving field of ideas and practices, and we make sure that our members stay ahead of the changes so they may deliver the best care possible.

As a result of their involvement in the CME program, our members consistently and demonstrably improve their competency and performance. We measure these improvements through performance metrics and outcome surveys, and we constantly hear stories about how a specific lecture provided an attendee with the ability to give better care to a patient in a certain situation.

Perhaps most importantly, members rave about how they’ve befriended their fellow OB/GYN doctors at our conferences, many of whom serve as models and mentors for years to come. These doctors learn and grow from each other through mutual values and a shared bond. In this way, Perinatal Resources and their CME program not only support women’s health through education, but through a community.
